Gotenks is one of the most powerful fighters in the history of the Dragon Ball franchise. Sadly, we never got to see Gotenks appear in the Dragon Ball GT series; despite the fact that there were MANY opportunities for him to appear in order to fight powerful enemies. Despite the fact that it is not counted as being canon when compared to the DBZ manga, it does not matter because it has given fans a character that they have wanted to see since the end of the DB series. It is not clear how powerful Gotenks would be as an adult and this has caused some division among fans. Some fans consider the Gotenks seen in the Majin Buu arc to be more powerful than a Gotenks formed through the fusion of an adult Goten and Trunks.

Both Gohan and Goten have grown to be kind-hearted warriors of good like their father, but that's not the only way they take after Goku. Didn't think we'd get this dark right from the start, did you? We can't imagine the kind of trauma that would inflict on young Gohan, but we do see how he copes with it. The Ginyu Force was based on sentai-styled superheroes, as was the Great Saiyaman. That might sound ridiculous, but The Great Saiyaman uses the same ridiculous poses as the Ginyu Force, and perhaps Gohan finds comfort in repurposing them for his heroic deeds.

He is later revealed to be the half-Saiyan half-Human son of Vegeta and Bulma. Trunks is one of Dragon Ball's most popular characters, and has been praised for his unique role within the series. Trunks' most prominent physical features come from his maternal side, as he inherits Bulma's blue eyes and lavender-colored hair which is mostly shown in the undercut style.
